If you attended “Senior Night” last Friday, January 20th, then you witnessed an amazing win by our Sr. Boys team against the Deer Antlers. The boys came out on top with a 65-41 win!!! Senior Mason Hatchett scored 26 points to contribute to the win with Senior Skyler Jackson contributing 13 points.
Coach Kilgore was excited and had this to say about the win:
“I’m proud of our boys for continuing to battle and “hanging on to the rope” in the second half. We were down at half to a team we previously lost to. They easily could have lost focus and intensity, but they didn’t. I’m very proud of our play in the second half. We made some adjustments and eliminated fouls we were committing in the first half. Our Sr. guards also stepped up and took control. We gained some momentum in the 4th quarter and didn’t let up. I am very proud of these boys.”
