Parent/Guardians - Please check your student’s folder and/or backpack for a certificate awarding your child 1 to 2 days off next Thursday, March 16, 2023 and Friday, March 17, 2023. It has been brought to our attention that afternoon pickup is becoming a safety issue. Please remember that traffic is one way around the bus barn and on up to the front steps where your child will be waiting. The teachers will have the students ready for you when you pull up. Do not leave the lower parking lot and go against the flow of traffic to get ahead of the buses. This applies to students as well!
Another reminder....the use of cell phones in a school zone is prohibited by Arkansas statute 27-51-1609 (a) Except as provided under subsection (b) of this section, a driver of a motor vehicle shall not use a handheld wireless telephone while operating a motor vehicle when passing a school building or school zone during school hours when children are present and outside the building. State Archery tournament is March 3-4, 2023. Good luck to the Jasper School District archery team. Elementary and middle school archers will compete Friday and high school will compete Saturday. GO JKO archers!!!
