History Club Trip

JHS Senior High History Club Explores USS Alabama and Gulf Shores

The JHS Senior High History Club recently embarked on an educational and exciting trip to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama. During their visit, students had the incredible opportunity to tour the historic USS Alabama battleship, explore the USS Drum submarine, and reflect at several war memorials dedicated to our nation's heroes. They also visited the aircraft pavilion, where they viewed an impressive collection of vintage military aircraft and learned about their historical significance.

Following the immersive experience at the park, the group traveled to Gulf Shores, where they enjoyed a well-deserved day of relaxation and fun at the beach, taking in the natural beauty of Alabama's coastline.

This enriching trip would not have been possible without the support and generosity of many. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Jasper School District Administration and School Board for approving the trip and supporting our students’ educational adventures outside the classroom. We are also incredibly grateful to all of our sponsors and donors, as well as those who played a vital role in fundraising efforts. Your contributions helped make this unforgettable experience a reality for our students.
