Congratulations to our 2022 Oark Teacher of the Year, Mr. Sims Terry!!!
Our whole school gathered in the gymnasium to celebrate as the Johnson County Chamber of Commerce presented Mr. Terry with his well deserved award!
We are so proud of him and appreciate all he does to support our academics, athletics, students, staff, and our community. Mr. Terry helps coach our 3-6 basketball league, helps out with 7-12 basketball, and he sponsors Student Government, Chess Club, and Model UN.
Mr. Terry is always one of the first to volunteer at events and is always there supporting our students. In his classroom, he sets high expectations, creates engaging lessons, and brings learning to life!
He is an important member of our #OarkHornetFamily and we are so thankful to have him!👏
