School begins tomorrow August 14. I know the first day will be hectic for everybody, but following procedures will keep all students safe. As always the doors will be open at 7a.m. for early drop offs. Those student must go directly to the cafeteria. The first bell rings at 7:50 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 7:55 a.m. every day. New students and 7th graders will have leniency the first 3 days of school as far as tardies are concerned. Parents that drive students to school must go around the FFA Avenue to drop kids off by the new building steps. Please do not pull up into the teacher parking lot as they have students also to keep safe. We all must follow procedures to keep all our kids safe. Car drivers are to park in the field as usual. I don’t mean for this to sound harsh, but student safety is a top priority.
Those parents that were unable to attend open house, your child will bring home a parent packet tomorrow. There are many forms for you to fill out. Please return to school as soon as possible.
The Kingston Community Library will be offering a Teen Book Club for grades 7-12. The first meeting will be Thursday, August 17th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. They will meet once a month at the Community Library. See Mrs. Stacey for questions.
