The class of 2021 is hosting Alumni versus Current Students basketball games.  The games will be September 29th, starting at 5:30 p.m.  Admission is $4 per adult and $2 per student or child.  There will be an auction between games, of baked goods and a basketball signed by alumni participating in the games, as well as a chance at making a half-court shot (cost $1 – if you make the shot you get $5).  The concession stand will also be open during the games.  Former coach, John Blamey, will be coaching the Alumni teams.  Any alumni willing to participate, please be at the gym by 5:00.

ATU College Day: Thursday, September 21st… For all Juniors and Seniors. Remember to bring money for lunch. Bus will leave by 8:00 and return by 2:00

The Yearbook committee will be selling yearbooks for $30 at the Alumni game. Orders for this year’s Senior and Business ads will also be accepted at this time. Please be sure to stop by the Yearbook booth on the evening of September 29th!

Hearing and vision screenings will begin on Tuesday.  Please make sure to bring glasses to school every day.

Pep Club sign up notes went home this past week.  If you wish for your child to be signed up, please return notes with t-shirt money by September 26th.

School picture day will be Monday, October 2nd. Be sure to have your child look your best and have had plenty of rest! Pictures must be pre-paid and order forms will be sent home as soon as they arrive.

The Parent and Family Engagement Committee is hosting an Oark Work Day on September 23rd.  There are many projects around school that we could use your help with.  We will start at 8:30 and work until 3:00 in the afternoon  Volunteers will receive an Oark Volunteer T-shirt and lunch will be provided by the Oark Store.  If you are interested in volunteering contact Tina South or Kendrea Stuart.

The class of 2018 will be hosting the 2nd Annual Untalented Show on October 6th. All proceeds from the show will go to the Oark Food Bank.  We will start serving $5 pizza combos at 6:00 and the show will begin at 6:30.  Tickets are $2 for adults and $3 for students.  We would love to have you share your fun side with the crowd. Contact any senior for participation information.  Participants get in the show for free!

7th thru 9th grade students interested in joining the Oark chess team please contact Mrs. Linker ASAP.

Celebrate Freedom Assembly

PEE WEE  - Girls basketball game Tuesday Sept 19th at home vs. St. Paul , ball game will begin at 5 :00. Players need to be at the gym by 4:40.
